Why We Built This Site
Texas offers several public record channels, but each custodian answers a different question. The Blanco County Sheriff's Office and Jail handles its booking, custody, warrant, and law-enforcement material. The County Clerk and District Clerk preserve court filings and dispositions at different jurisdictional levels. Texas DPS maintains the statewide criminal-history repository, while TDCJ and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry cover separate custody, supervision, and registration subjects. We bring the verified request steps, official links, fees, and contact details for those offices together.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: routes to the sheriff, Blanco County clerks, and statewide Texas record systems
- Record guides: how criminal court case records are found and interpreted in Blanco County
- Record-clearing information: the distinction between Texas expunction and orders of nondisclosure
- Official-check instructions: the different roles of the Texas DPS name search and fingerprint personal review
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Texas court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Those limits mean:
- We do not issue certified court documents, rap sheets, or other official copies
- We cannot provide legal advice about a particular charge, warrant, or case
- We cannot submit an expunction petition or public-information request for a visitor
- We do not run official criminal-history checks or retrieve a person's record
- We cannot promise that an agency has not changed a fee, address, or telephone number
An official record must come from its custodian, such as a Blanco County clerk, the Sheriff's Office, or Texas DPS. This resource identifies the route; it does not produce the document.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own results, service terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not operate those providers or determine the contents of their results.
